Carpal tunnel surgery
Incision = just ulnar to the thenar crease to avoid damaging the
palmar cutaneous
(sensory) and
thenar motor
branches of the median nerve.
Surgival options: Open surgical division OR endoscopic release of the transverse carpal ligament.
